At Casa Angelina, we take our food seriously. And for us, good food starts with top-line local suppliers. We source the vast majority of our ingredients from the trusted producers and artisans of the surrounding Amalfi Coast and wider Campania region.
And it’s not just because we want to support the local economy, but because – lucky for us – Campania’s food produce is among Italy’s finest.
We would be silly to look elsewhere for ingredients. The locale is, after all, home to some of Italy’s best cheeses (mozzarella di bufala Campana), an abundance of fresh seafood, citruses (those famously sweet Amalfi lemons), and tomatoes (pomodoro San Marzano DOP). Plus, the region is a major exporter of pasta, olive oil, and wine.
