CASA ANGELINA ANSWERS

Here are a few insights shared directly by the hotel’s key team members. Each set of questions is addressed to a specific hotel figure — General Manager, Executive Chef, or Concierge — offering insights from their unique perspective.

General Manager questions

Casa Angelina is popular on so many levels, from the location to the views, design, rooms and food and beverage on offer. Tell us about your favourite things of the property.

What I love most about Casa Angelina is that it goes beyond the traditional concept of a five-star luxury hotel. Of course, guests are drawn by the spectacular location, the design, the views, and the culinary experiences, but what truly sets Casa Angelina apart is how it makes people feel.

From the moment guests arrive, there is a genuine sense of being completely taken care of. Every detail is thoughtfully considered so that they can let go, slow down and simply be present. In a destination as vibrant and bustling as the Amalfi Coast, Casa Angelina offers something increasingly rare: the opportunity to disconnect from the noise and reconnect with oneself.

We often say that we don’t simply provide accommodation; we create the conditions for an intentional stay. Whether that means finding a moment of stillness overlooking the sea, enjoying a meaningful culinary experience, or simply allowing our team to anticipate every need, guests leave feeling restored both mentally and physically.

The hotel itself feels more like a contemporary home than a traditional hotel. There is an atmosphere of understated elegance and quiet luxury that allows the beauty of the Amalfi Coast to take centre stage. For me, seeing guests arrive exhausted and leave feeling renewed is perhaps the most rewarding aspect of what we do.

Tell us about the stylish rooms and suites on offer.

Our accommodations are a natural extension of Casa Angelina’s signature style: elegant, contemporary and deeply connected to the surrounding landscape. What makes them truly special is that every room and suite enjoys sweeping views of the Mediterranean and its own private outdoor space, whether a balcony or terrace, allowing guests to experience the Amalfi Coast from the comfort and privacy of their own sanctuary.
Over the years, we have intentionally evolved our accommodation offering. Recently, we reduced the number of keys from 44 to 36, creating larger and even more spacious accommodations while significantly enhancing our suite collection. Among our most distinctive offerings are the Azure Suite, Vermarine Suite and Angelina Suite, each designed to provide a residential-style experience with generous indoor and outdoor living spaces, exceptional privacy, and breathtaking sea views.

Design remains at the heart of Casa Angelina, and we are particularly proud of our collaboration with renowned Italian designer Paola Lenti, whose iconic furnishings feature in some of our most exclusive suites. While Casa Angelina is celebrated for its signature white-on-white aesthetic, Paola Lenti’s creations have introduced subtle hues inspired by the surrounding landscape — delicate shades of sea blue, pale green and soft natural tones that gently blend into the overall design. The result is an elegant evolution of the hotel’s visual identity, maintaining its sense of serenity while creating a deeper dialogue with the colors of the Amalfi Coast. Her distinctive aesthetic brings warmth, texture and effortless sophistication to the spaces, enhancing the feeling of staying in a beautifully curated contemporary home.

Beyond the design, we place tremendous importance on comfort and the quality of every detail. Rather than sourcing from traditional hotel suppliers, we partner with brands more commonly found in exceptional private residences. Guests sleep on Simmons Beautyrest mattresses that can be tailored to their preferred firmness, from soft to medium or firm, ensuring a personalised sleeping experience. Beds are dressed with luxurious Beltrami linens, while guests can select from a curated collection of premium bath amenities, including Jo Malone London, Diptyque, Aesop and L’Occitane, according to their personal preferences.

It is often the small touches that guests remember most fondly: the pillow menu, the nightly turndown ritual with chamomile pillow mist and hand cream, the gourmet surprise left by our culinary team, the carefully prepared terrace complete with cashmere wraps for cooler evenings, and the binoculars waiting to help guests take in the extraordinary scenery. Every element has been thoughtfully curated to make guests feel not as though they are staying in a hotel room, but in a beautiful contemporary home on the Amalfi Coast.

Tell us about the fantastic food and beverage on offer, which is some of the best in the region.

Food and beverage is one of the pillars of the Casa Angelina experience and reflects our broader philosophy of hospitality: authentic, thoughtful, highly personalised and deeply connected to our surroundings.
Breakfast is one of our true highlights and, in 2025, Casa Angelina was recognised with a Best Hotel Breakfast award. It is a moment our guests genuinely look forward to — so much so that even while on holiday, many choose to wake early simply to enjoy the morning light and the spellbinding views from the restaurant terrace.

What makes breakfast special is the combination of abundance, quality and personalisation. We have a nighttime baker who prepares fresh breads and pastries while the hotel sleeps, and our Night Food & Beverage Butler can arrange a bespoke breakfast for guests with early departures, even before sunrise. The experience combines an impressive buffet with beautifully served à la carte dishes, offering almost anything a guest could dream of, from indulgent holiday favourites to lighter, balanced options. Our Chef also works with a nutritionist to ensure the offer is generous, enjoyable and thoughtfully balanced.

Across all our dining venues, quality begins with the ingredients. Much of our produce comes directly from our organic cliffside garden overlooking the Mediterranean, while seafood is sourced from trusted local fishermen, including those here in Praiano. We are fortunate to be surrounded by extraordinary producers, and our role is to respect and showcase their work through a cuisine that celebrates the richness of Campania and the Amalfi Coast.

At Seascape, our all-day dining restaurant, featuring an open space kitchen, guests enjoy a relaxed yet refined culinary experience centred around traditional Neapolitan flavours, fresh seafood and seasonal ingredients, all accompanied by uninterrupted sea views.

At our Michelin-starred restaurant, Un Piano Nel Cielo, only open for dinner, Chef Leopoldo Elefante presents a contemporary interpretation of the territory that is elegant, expressive and deeply rooted in seasonality. What makes the experience particularly distinctive is that it is never rigid or overly formal. The menu evolves continuously with the rhythms of our garden and the sea, offering guests the freedom to create a personalised gastronomic journey through both tasting menus and a generous à la carte selection. The cuisine is refined yet approachable, allowing the purity of exceptional ingredients to remain at the forefront.

Complementing the culinary experience is one of the most extensive wine cellars on the Amalfi Coast, featuring over 1,500 labels with a particular focus on remarkable producers from Campania, further reinforcing our commitment to celebrating the character and culture of our region.

What's your x-factor at Casa Angelina?

I believe our true x-factor is the relentless quest for perfection that shapes everything we do. Not perfection in a formal or intimidating sense, but in the genuine care, attention and thoughtfulness that our team brings to every guest experience.

Behind Casa Angelina is a remarkable team of approximately 120 young hospitality professionals who share a common passion: anticipating needs before they are expressed and creating moments that feel effortless, natural and deeply personal. Luxury today is not about excess; it is about feeling understood, cared for and completely at ease.

From the moment guests arrive, there is a sense that everything has been thoughtfully prepared for them. It is this anticipatory approach, combined with sincere warmth and dedication, that transforms a stay into something memorable.

The other element that guests often speak about is the feeling of being suspended between sea and sky, removed from the pace of everyday life. Many describe Casa Angelina as feeling almost heavenly — a place where they can disconnect from external pressures and reconnect with themselves. Surrounded by extraordinary beauty, cared for by a passionate team and free from the demands of daily life, they experience what we believe is the ultimate luxury: the freedom to simply be.

For us, that feeling of being on cloud nine, where every detail is taken care of and every moment can be fully enjoyed, is what defines Casa Angelina.

Favourite things to do in the local area?

The Amalfi Coast is one of the most photographed destinations in the world, but I always encourage guests to look beyond the postcard and discover its authentic soul. Some of the most memorable experiences are often the simplest ones — the moments that connect you with the people, traditions and landscapes that make this place so special.

Praiano, in particular, remains one of the Coast’s hidden gems. While many visitors focus exclusively on Positano or Capri, Praiano has preserved a more genuine rhythm of life and offers a wonderful opportunity to experience the Amalfi Coast as locals do.

If I had to recommend one experience, it would undoubtedly be exploring the coastline aboard our Lady Angelina Gozzo 35 by Apreamare. The Amalfi Coast reveals itself differently from the sea. There are hidden coves, ancient fishing villages, dramatic cliffs and perspectives that can only be discovered from the water. It is an experience that allows guests to understand what the Coast whispers to those willing to slow down and observe.

Equally important is dedicating time to what we like to call a modern interpretation of La Dolce Vita. In Praiano, guests can discover local traditions such as the historic Totani fishing experience, learn the art of bobbin lace-making from local artisans, or simply wander through the village’s quiet pathways and staircases overlooking the sea.

One experience that is particularly close to our hearts is a visit to our organic cliffside garden with our Garden Curator, Giusy, and Chef Leopoldo Elefante. Guests are invited to walk through the terraces overlooking the Mediterranean, pick tomatoes, herbs and seasonal vegetables with their own hands, with our knowledgeable Farmer, Basile, and gain a deeper understanding of the ingredients that define our cuisine. It is a beautiful way to reconnect with nature, appreciate the rhythms of the seasons and take home a genuine taste of the Amalfi Coast.

At Casa Angelina, we believe travel should be meaningful and intentional. The most rewarding experiences are often those that leave guests feeling more connected — to a place, to its culture and traditions, and ultimately to themselves.

Executive chef questions

Tell us about the fantastic food and beverage offerings at Casa Angelina.

At Casa Angelina, food is much more than dining; it is one of the most authentic ways we introduce guests to the soul of our region.

We are fortunate to be in Campania, one of Italy’s most celebrated gastronomic destinations, a land whose culinary traditions have influenced and inspired food lovers around the world. Our responsibility is to honour that heritage and bring its essence to our guests in a way that feels genuine, memorable, and deeply connected to place.

From the very first culinary touchpoint — whether it is the welcome amenity awaiting guests in their room upon arrival, breakfast overlooking the sea, a relaxed lunch at Seascape or dinner at Un Piano Nel Cielo — our goal is always the same: to remind guests where they are and what makes this corner of Italy so extraordinary.

Every dish becomes part of a larger narrative. The tomatoes, herbs and vegetables harvested from our cliffside garden, the fish brought in by local fishermen, the citrus fruits that have become symbols of the Amalfi Coast, and the exceptional products sourced throughout Campania all tell the story of this land. We want guests to experience the flavours, traditions, and culture of the region not only through individual meals, but throughout their entire stay.

The culinary journey at Casa Angelina is therefore designed to create a lasting sense of place. We want guests to leave not only remembering what they ate, but understanding the people, traditions and landscapes behind every ingredient and every dish.

There's a big focus on local produce at the property – tell us about that.

Absolutely. Once you decide that your mission is to tell the story of Campania through food, the quality and provenance of every ingredient become essential.

We are fortunate to be surrounded by extraordinary producers, many of whom have been preserving traditional methods and local varieties for generations. Rather than sourcing ingredients simply because they are local, we carefully select producers who share our commitment to authenticity, quality and respect for the land.

Our extra virgin olive oil, for example, comes from Mulino della Signora in the province of Avellino, while our pasta is sourced from a small artisan producer in Gragnano, a town internationally recognised as the home of Italy’s finest dried pasta. We work with local dairies for products such as mozzarella, Provolone del Monaco and buffalo yogurt from Agerola, the mountain village overlooking the Amalfi Coast whose dairy traditions are an integral part of the region’s identity.

Much of the fruit, vegetables and herbs used in our kitchens are harvested from our own organic cliffside garden overlooking the Mediterranean. The garden allows us to work according to the seasons and to bring ingredients from the soil to the plate within hours.
For seafood, we rely on a small network of trusted fishermen from Praiano and Positano, whose daily catch often inspires the direction of our menus. The same philosophy extends to our wine programme, where we proudly showcase remarkable producers from Campania, helping guests discover the diversity and character of one of Italy’s most exciting wine regions.

For us, local sourcing is not a trend; it is a responsibility. Every ingredient carries with it a story, a family, a landscape and a tradition. By bringing these products to our guests’ tables, we are not simply serving a meal—we are offering a genuine taste of Campania and the Amalfi Coast.

What are some of your favourite ingredients to work with at present?

As we move into the height of summer, it is undoubtedly one of the most exciting moments of the year in our kitchen. The garden is becoming increasingly generous, and many of the ingredients that best express the identity of our region are now reaching their peak.

At the moment, I am particularly inspired by tomatoes. We grow five to six different varieties in our organic cliffside garden, each with its own personality, sweetness, texture and balance of acidity. They are among the purest expressions of Mediterranean cuisine and can be transformed into dishes that are both incredibly simple and remarkably sophisticated.

Alongside tomatoes, aubergines, courgettes and aromatic herbs are flourishing. These are ingredients that have defined the culinary traditions of Campania for generations and continue to form the foundation of many of our favourite summer dishes. What I love most is their versatility: they can take centre stage in a vegetarian preparation, accompany freshly made pasta, or create a beautiful dialogue with the catch of the day brought in by our local fishermen from Praiano and Positano.

This is the season when the boundaries between garden, sea and kitchen become almost invisible. A tomato picked in the morning, fresh herbs harvested from the terraces and a fish landed only a few hours earlier can come together on the same plate. For me, this is the essence of our cuisine: respecting the rhythms of nature and allowing exceptional ingredients to tell the story of our territory with honesty and elegance.

Ultimately, the ingredients I enjoy working with most are not necessarily the rarest or most complex, but those that best capture a sense of place. During the summer months on the Amalfi Coast, few things achieve that more beautifully than the vegetables growing in our garden and the seafood arriving daily from the waters below.

What are some of your favourite dishes across the property and why?

Some of my favourite dishes are those that best express the connection between memory, territory and contemporary technique.

At Un Piano Nel Cielo, one of my signature dishes is the 36-egg yolk tagliolini with prawns, served in a delicate lemon and dill sauce. It is refined and elegant, but still deeply connected to the flavours of the Amalfi Coast — the freshness of the sea, the brightness of local citrus, and the richness of handmade pasta.

At Seascape, our more relaxed all-day dining restaurant, guests can enjoy a simpler but equally memorable expression of this idea through our tonnarelli in lemon sauce, which has become one of our guests’ favourite pasta dishes. Another much-loved dish is our Spaghetti alla Nerano, prepared with courgettes grown in our own garden. It is a beautiful example of how a traditional recipe can become extraordinary when the ingredients are truly exceptional.

I am also very attached to our Totani e Patate, a traditional dish from Praiano made with squid and potatoes, which we reinterpret with a contemporary touch while preserving its authentic soul. It is a dish that speaks directly of our village and its fishing heritage.

And then there are the dishes connected to personal memory, such as our polpette, meatballs cooked in the way my grandmother taught me. They are simple, comforting and full of emotion. For me, these dishes are important because they show that cuisine is not only about technique; it is about memory, identity and the ability to make guests feel connected to a place, a family tradition and a story.

Tell us about your background and your career journey so far.

My relationship with food began long before I ever stepped into a professional kitchen. Some of my earliest memories are of my grandmother preparing ravioli for Sunday lunch, patiently shaping each one by hand while the family gathered around. I can still remember the aromas that filled the house and the anticipation that surrounded those moments.

Equally vivid are the memories of my grandfather returning from the garden with freshly picked tomatoes. Even today, the scent of a perfectly ripe tomato takes me back to those childhood days and reminds me of the simplicity and beauty of exceptional ingredients. Looking back, I realise that these experiences taught me one of the most important lessons of my career: great cuisine always begins with respect for the product and for the people behind it.

That passion naturally evolved into a professional path dedicated to gastronomy. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of learning from talented chefs and refining my own culinary philosophy, one rooted in authenticity, seasonality and a deep connection to my territory.

Seven years ago, I joined Casa Angelina and embarked on what has become one of the most rewarding chapters of my professional life. Together with an extraordinary team, we have worked tirelessly to develop a culinary identity that reflects both the character of the Amalfi Coast and the spirit of the hotel. Receiving our Michelin star was undoubtedly a proud moment, but more than an achievement, it felt like the recognition of a journey we had already been travelling for many years — a commitment to excellence, consistency, attention to detail and genuine hospitality that guests had already come to associate with Un Piano Nel Cielo.

Today, my greatest ambition remains unchanged. Through every dish, I strive to convey the essence of Casa Angelina: quality without compromise, clarity of flavour, respect for our territory and the creation of memorable experiences. If guests leave our table with a deeper understanding of this extraordinary region and with emotions that stay with them long after their journey has ended, then I feel I have accomplished my goal.

Concierge questions

What are your favourite recommendations for activities and experiences on property at Casa Angelina?

What I love most about the experiences at Casa Angelina is that they are not simply activities; they are opportunities for guests to slow down, reconnect and engage with the destination in a more meaningful way.

One of my favourite experiences is our bespoke cooking class with Executive Chef Leopoldo Elefante. Unlike a traditional cooking demonstration, it is entirely tailored to the guest’s interests, whether they wish to master handmade pasta, learn the secrets of preparing local seafood, or explore the richness of Mediterranean vegetarian cuisine. The experience begins with a walk through our organic cliffside garden, where guests harvest seasonal vegetables, herbs and fruits alongside the Chef before transforming them into dishes inspired by the flavours of Campania. It is a wonderful way to understand the connection between the land, the ingredients and the cuisine that defines the Amalfi Coast.

I also often recommend our watercolour painting experience with a talented artist from Amalfi. The class can take place on the Rooftop Terrace or in one of the hotel’s panoramic corners overlooking the sea. Guests frequently arrive believing they are joining an art lesson, only to discover something much deeper. The experience is incredibly meditative, encouraging them to observe the landscape more carefully, embrace the present moment and express their creativity while surrounded by extraordinary beauty. It perfectly complements the sense of peace and inner calm that so many guests discover during their stay.

For those seeking restoration and wellbeing, I highly recommend dedicating time to our Augustinus Bader x Casa Angelina wellness rituals. The experience can begin with a private yoga or Pilates session overlooking the Mediterranean, allowing guests to awaken body and mind in harmony with the natural rhythms of the Coast. This is followed by a personalised treatment journey designed around individual needs, whether preparing and nourishing the skin before days spent under the Mediterranean sun, relieving physical tension and travel fatigue, restoring energy through deeply relaxing body rituals, or indulging in a rejuvenating facial designed to enhance natural radiance. Much like every aspect of Casa Angelina, these experiences are highly personalised and centred around helping guests feel their very best.

And for a truly Casa Angelina moment, I always suggest spending some unhurried time beneath our iconic lemon pergola by the pool. Before settling into this fragrant oasis, guests often enjoy meeting Michele, our Lemon Keeper, who lovingly tends the pergola throughout the season and is the guardian of one of the most photographed and beloved corners of the hotel. Listening to him share the care, patience and passion behind its creation transforms what might seem like a beautiful setting into something far more meaningful. It is a simple yet memorable encounter that perfectly captures the spirit of Casa Angelina: authenticity, beauty and a deep connection to place.

After all, sometimes the most restorative experience is simply finding a comfortable spot beneath the lemons, overlooking the endless blue of the Mediterranean, and allowing yourself to do absolutely nothing at all – what in Italian we call ‘Il Dolce Far Niente’.

Ultimately, the experiences I cherish most are those that allow guests to leave with more than memories. They leave with new skills, new perspectives, a deeper connection to the Amalfi Coast and, perhaps most importantly, a renewed sense of wellbeing.

Tell us about some of your favourite experiences and tours in the area.

One of the things I love most about the Amalfi Coast is that it can be experienced from so many different perspectives, each revealing a different side of its personality. If I were creating the perfect itinerary for a guest, I would encourage them to discover it from the sea, from the mountains and through its timeless way of life.

The sea is undoubtedly where I would begin. Exploring the coastline aboard our Lady Angelina Gozzo 35 by Apreamare or our Master Angelina offers an entirely different understanding of the destination. From the water, guests discover hidden coves, dramatic cliffs, secluded beaches and charming fishing villages that remain invisible from the road. Sunset cruises have become particularly popular, especially for celebrating milestone moments such as wedding proposals, anniversaries and special birthdays. There is something magical about watching the sun disappear behind Capri while enjoying a glass of Champagne on deck. For an even more memorable occasion, we can arrange a private chef on board, transforming the excursion into an intimate culinary experience surrounded by the beauty of the Mediterranean.

For guests who enjoy nature and active exploration, the Path of the Gods remains one of my favourite experiences. However, we approach it differently. Rather than offering a standard hike, we work with an exceptional local guide who tailors the route to each guest’s preferences and fitness level. Whether they are looking for a gentle walk or a more challenging trek, the experience can be customised accordingly. Along the way, guests can stop at a small rural farm, where they can meet a local farmer and enjoy a simple yet authentic refreshment featuring local products while taking in extraordinary views over the coastline.

For those seeking a more romantic interpretation of the Amalfi Coast, I often recommend a journey to the charming village of Ravello in a vintage Italian car accompanied by a photographer/experience curator. It is a beautiful way to embrace a modern version of La Dolce Vita, winding through scenic roads, discovering hidden corners of one of Italy’s most enchanting villages and capturing timeless photographs along the way. Guests return not only with beautiful images but with memories of having truly lived the elegance, beauty and spontaneity that have made the Italian lifestyle so admired around the world.

What all these experiences have in common is that they allow guests to move beyond sightseeing and connect more deeply with the essence of the Amalfi Coast, creating memories that feel personal, authentic and uniquely their own.

What are some of the unique cultural experiences the team can organise in the local area?

One of the aspects we are most passionate about at Casa Angelina is helping guests discover the authentic cultural soul of the Amalfi Coast beyond its famous scenery. We always try to create experiences that allow visitors to connect with local traditions, craftsmanship and the people who continue to preserve them.

One of the most unique experiences we can arrange is the traditional Totani fishing ritual in Praiano, a centuries-old practice deeply rooted in the village’s maritime heritage. Taking place at sunset and into the evening, guests head out to sea with local fishermen to learn the fascinating techniques historically used to attract and catch squid along the coastline. It is far more than a fishing excursion; it is an immersion into a way of life that has shaped the identity of Praiano for generations.

For guests interested in local craftsmanship, we can organise visits with artisans who continue to keep traditional skills alive. In Praiano, this includes discovering the intricate art of bobbin lacemaking and meeting local basket weavers whose work reflects the region’s rural heritage. In nearby Positano, guests can visit workshops dedicated to handmade sandals and artisanal ceramics, meeting the craftsmen behind creations that have become symbols of the Amalfi Coast’s timeless style.

Another experience I particularly enjoy recommending is a visit to one of the family-owned Amalfi lemon farms nestled along the terraced hillsides of the Coast. Guests can walk among the fragrant lemon groves, learn about the cultivation methods that have shaped the landscape for centuries and discover how these extraordinary fruits influence everything from gastronomy to local traditions and daily life.

For those drawn to art and history, we can arrange visits to some of Praiano’s ancient watchtowers that once protected the coastline. Today, some of these remarkable structures have been transformed into creative spaces where local artists host intimate ateliers. Meeting them within such an atmospheric setting offers a beautiful encounter between history, culture and contemporary artistic expression.

And sometimes, embracing the local lifestyle means doing very little at all. We can organise relaxing days at some of the Amalfi Coast’s most exclusive beach clubs, where guests can spend hours enjoying the sea, long Mediterranean lunches and the effortless elegance that has defined this destination for generations.

What makes these experiences special is that they allow guests to move beyond observation and become part of the story of the Amalfi Coast, even if only for a day. They return not only with photographs, but with a deeper understanding of the traditions, people and culture that make this region so extraordinary.

The region is well known for its culinary scene. Do you have any favourite cafes, restaurants or bars in the local area that are a must-do?

One of the wonderful things about the Amalfi Coast is that every village has its own personality, and the dining scene reflects that beautifully. When guests ask for recommendations, I always try to understand what kind of experience they are looking for, because there is truly something for every mood and occasion.

In Praiano, I often recommend Da Armandino, located directly on the water in the charming Marina di Praia. It captures the essence of the traditional fishing village and is one of my favourite places to enjoy fresh seafood while watching the boats gently sway in the harbour. For something more contemporary, Kasai offers a sophisticated atmosphere, spectacular views and a creative interpretation of Mediterranean cuisine that blends innovation with local flavours.

Another address I enjoy recommending is La Moressa, where traditional regional recipes are revisited with a modern touch, while La Strada remains a wonderful choice for those seeking a classic family-run restaurant serving authentic Mediterranean cuisine on a panoramic terrace overlooking the coastline. For guests wishing to discover the agricultural soul of the region, KM0 is a particularly special experience, celebrating the flavours of the Amalfi Coast through locally sourced ingredients and a genuine farm-to-table philosophy.

In Positano, there are several institutions that never disappoint. Max is renowned for its warm hospitality and consistently excellent cuisine, while Buca di Bacco offers an elegant seaside setting and a menu deeply rooted in Italian culinary traditions. For a more relaxed atmosphere directly on the beach, Chez Black remains a timeless classic where guests can enjoy traditional dishes just steps from the sea.

For long summer lunches and sunset cocktails, I particularly enjoy recommending Rada Beach Bistrot. The setting is spectacular, combining the vibrant energy of Positano with a chic yet relaxed beach-club atmosphere.

One hidden gem that I often suggest is La Taverna del Leone, located between Praiano and Positano. Opened in 1965, it beautifully embodies the relationship between territory and cuisine, offering traditional dishes, exceptional ingredients and a welcoming atmosphere that feels authentically local.
Ultimately, my favourite recommendation is to experience a mix of both worlds: the refined and the rustic, the celebrated and the undiscovered. The Amalfi Coast reveals itself most beautifully when guests allow themselves to move between elegant seaside dining, family-run trattorias and simple places where recipes, hospitality and traditions have remained unchanged for generations.
